What a great day! I just got back from spending an evening at the Man Pad.
This morning, err...technically yesterday morning, I headed over to Overlake to spend the day at Legacy and visit with friends I hadn't seen all summer. After popping in and out of many classes all morning, I headed over to the lunchroom where I discovered that many other "alumni" had returned for the same reason I had. We had a grand old time as we hung out there one last time, reminiscent of all the years previous we'd had together every Thursday. Then after coordinating with Braum, I left to pick him up and bring him over so everyone could finally see him again. Several hours later, after many see-you-soon's and a few farewells *sad*, I reluctantly left Legacy for the last time *crys, well not really* and Braum and I left for the 4-6 P.M. orintation at BCC where I finally got to see several other good friends, some of whom had been overseas for the summer. With the orientation finally behind us, Jordan, Jena, Braum, Joe, Brian, Danny, Kevin, and I spent time sitting around chatting and watching Braum "poke his eye out" and accidentally whack a girl with the cafeteria doors. After trying to get the Campus Crusade for Christ group together to go out and eat, and then realizing that wouldn't work due to meetings they had that night, Braum and I decided to head over to the Man Pad, the apartment he and Ryan share at the Clogston's house, and have a Halo fest, where we were joined by Wittney and later Zach. I must say, I don't think I've ever heard that many high pitch screams and shrieks from four guys and a girl before, and man oh man were the quotes flying. I just wish I could remember some of them to post here. Oh! And I got an all time record high of 24 kills in a single game. For those of you who don't know, I am one of the worst Halo players around (mainly because I rarely play it) and am usually the "designated dier." After several hours of "nicely killing each other in brotherly and sisterly Christian love," Whittney got called home and the rest of us decided to call it a night. After a few farewells, and laughing so hard that we could barely keep from spraying each other with the soda we were drinking, we headed our separate ways. And now, I just recently got home and will soon head for bed. Like I said, a great night.

In other news, I have come to the conclusion that, when using the bathroom, it just seems very weird to have your cell phone suddenly start playing "Under the Sea" from "The Little Mermaid."
