  • Pray, please.

Last night, Dad was unable to reach Grandma on the phone.  He called a neighbor who went over to check on her by looking through the window.  She reported back that she saw Grandma laying on the living room floor not moving.  Paramedics came, left, and said that she was okay, that she had just fallen and hadn’t been able to get up because of her two hip replacements.  For the last couple of days, she has felt a little dizzy (she has diabetes), to the point that she got her cane out (a big step for her).  Apparently, she just got dizzy, and fell down on her rear.  So, after a flurry of activity and phone calls last night, everything appeared to be fine.

Fast forward to today now.  Mom just called and said that they think that Grandma had a stroke this morning, but they aren’t sure.  When talking to her on the phone, her speech started becoming more and more slurred, and her hands, arms, etc. were shaking.  Dad’s got a flight booked, and he is flying out at ten to three this afternoon.  The paramedics have already come again, the same guys that came to see her last night, and have taken her to one of the hospitals over there in Sacramento, CA.

So in the meantime, please pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors that are treating her, and for her safety.  Dad is packing and getting ready to leave now, and Grandma is in the hospital, and we really don’t know what all is going on right now.

Alright, well I need to go back up to the math lab to do more studying for finals.  Pray for those as well, if you don’t mind.  I’ve got one that should be easy, one that needs a solid five to seven hours of study time before I’m ready, and one that is basically “Death, Destruction, Despair, Oh My!”

Hope you all are having a good afternoon.  I hope you all to magnificently well on finals.
